we'll see a further "five or six" titles by the middle of 2007. Awesome. Hopefully they won't be full priced. He also confirmed that genre spin-offs including Country Rock for the US and a Metal edition are on the cards. I'd by a Christian version, but I don't think they'd move enough units... This is fabulous news.

Seriously, this is the best gaming news I've heard in months. I'll definately pass on the country version, but a metal version has the potential to kick all kinds of ass - depending on what their definition of 'metal' is.

It's sad but I probably would consider purchasing a Country Rock version. Maybe not at full price but I could see myself buying it for something different.

Crap. Once the country version hits there is literally no way that Frog's Honey won't demand that I buy it just so she can hear the tunes while watching me try to play them.

I will buy any and all guitar hero sequels/expansions/whatever they want to call them.
I'd think xbox would be possible since DDra nd Karaoke Revolution have both made it to xbox, though I'd prefer a 360 version, with a wireless guitar!

Awesome news! I always thought AC/DC or Van Halen (and Metallica) would be a good match for Guitar Hero. Maybe for the sequel!

This actually makes me more likely to buy the first game. It seemed a little gimmicky but knowing there is more on the horizon has me a bit more excited. Everybody raves about it but until this weekend at Best Buy I had never seen the game in action. It actually worked a lot better than I thought it would. I actually like the QotSA so hearing them do their song on the demo unit helped prod me closer. I am definately going to have to close my blinds when I start wailin' like Van Halen on this thing though!
As if there weren't enough stuff coming out this month I might actually have to add this to my list...
