Server ip is 69.31.96.155, you can use the Join IP button in the browser to connect.
I believe we will have a TS server available, and what we'll be doing is an admin will be in there and you can join the TS server and say you're ready to join, we kick a non-member and you should get in.
Big thanks to Hark for setting all of this up. See you in battle!

I believe that it is Hark's Hell CG/OO or somesuch. If you search for "Hark" you'll get it.

I would suggest that you turn off banning for teamkilling for right now because of the problems with mines. I place my mines away from spawns and spread out so people can pass by them, yet morons still walk over them. I was banned tonight for that exact reason. I'm not sure how long bans last but my ip is 24.14.95.220 if you could unban me.
I love your server though, the best time I have had on bf2 yet!
thanks

Any way to make it a private server (which I had originally brought up about in one of these threads)? I checked not too long ago and it was full...full of nicks I didn't even recognize from here, GG, OO, etc. Since it is a ranked public server everyone and their brother is going to want to be on it to increase their rank. And with EA's ranker server problems yours is nice and enticing probably.

If we can come up with 32 people who will always be able to play we could make it private Problem with making it private is it would be a ghost town most of the time. We'll be locking it down for special occasions and the like. If you're having trouble getting in, go to OO's forums and get setup for their TS server. Let one of the BF2 admins in the TS know that you'd like on and they can make room for you.

New forums are up for anything related to this server, this will keep it all in one place instead of spread throughout 4 forum categories on 2 sites. www.harkonis.com is the location

I don't know if many people are still playing or not (having dial-up internet this summer has REALLY kept me "out of the loop" ) but if so I would love to play some Battlefield 2 with you fellas! Though, I could only start to play around the middle/end of August.

What is the long-term outlook for this server? Do you guys hope to keep it up for the next few months?

We have at least one more month, and I'd say we'll probably have enough support for several months to come. Might have to cut back from 40 slots to 32 or so though depending on donations.

I have tried getting into the server lately and it says I don't have the same version or something like that. Are you all playing with that new patch or something. I loaded it and took it right back off because gameplay was actually laggier afterward. I am suspecting I was just not meant to play with you all.

The server was shutdown because of issues with getting over the 10 player limit.

It's not all that newbie friendly, as it's more complicated than your typical FPS. However, if you want to give it a shot, you're welcome to jump onto our server and we'll show you the ropes. gellar
