GT iOS game tournament?

Saw this on another forum and thought it could be fun.

How about we set up a double-elimination tournament here based around an online-based iOS game? We would have brackets, etc, and set deadlines for the opponents to face off against each other and post the results here.

The game could be Street Fighter IV Volt or Kard Combat or something like that. Something popular so that not too many of us would be forced to buy new games to participate

What do you guys think?

I'm still in therapy from having run Street Fighter IV forum tournaments, so I'll just throw out that it's probably a super awesome great idea to stick to a title that allows for asynchronous matches.  Getting people to be online at the same time is like teaching a dozen rabbits a synchronized swimming routine.

Kard Combat is probably the best/easiest one to manage IMHO.  Everyone just needs to play a "fully loaded" mage though so that it's fair from that standpoint.

True that - I absolutely crushed you the first game we played, then afterwards you won all the time 'til I gave up.
