Yeah, you can't find the console anywhere in stores, but that's not the point. Niether is showing any game footage at all in this Xbox 360 commercial:

http://video.msn.com/v/us/v.htm?g=9d298cad-ff70-4443-9f7b-3e8a23f8928b&f=copy
(yes, there's an ad to watch before the ad - go figure).

The commercial makes me feel like a kid again, just like I already do as I'm playing my brand new console.

That one's pretty cool and much better than the water balloon one (which feels a little too disturbing and violent).  And I feel it captures video gaming better than any other ones I've seen.  Still, that jump rope one is damn cool (the shorter one is more impressive, I think).  Nothing to do with video games, but damn cool.

And the new one ain't much better. This ad campaign is completely going over my head. I find them very violent (try watching them with the sound off). They don't appeal to me as a gamer, and I see little in them to intrigue a casual watcher.

I'm not sure that is all CGI, though the bike bit isn't in the one I saw and that had me doubting.  Really, the shorter one is better.

I dig the Jump In ads. Good marketing on MS's part, IMO.

To be honest, that's why I keep the 'right click to open link/page in IE' plugin for Firefox around - the stupid pages out there (mostly Microsoft ones) that require IE.

And to keep this on topic - love the grenade tossing woman, the one who had the shotgun (and 'reloaded' it after every shot), and the ending sequence. biggrin
