The only problem with that thought is that both the pistol and the mp5 shoot the same round!  The mp5 is just more accurate at distance.

ahhh, but the mp5 shoots them FASTER!  more bullets is almost as good as bigger bullets, MWAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. *ahem*  i think i'll stick with my big guns.

That is probably a good idea, although Jarrodhk and I have been fun trying new guns and new tactics which is actually really fun to do!

OK, I have heard sooooooo many different dates for when the new DLC is going to be released.  Other than by the end of the month, does anyone have any solid information as to when the DLC is going to be avaliable as well as what they will be charging for this content?

OK so jarrodhk passed this on to me and I don't know if anyone else has found this.  On live Market place under media and entertainment then game trailers is a downloadable trailer for the new DLC.  I haven't looked at it yet so I don't know if it is the exact same as the stuff on the internet, but it is worth a look.  Thanks for sending that to me Jarrodhk.

Yeah, I totally agree. Not worth that much.

I'm at work, but I heard it's available (now?!) for 1200 gamerpoints.  That's a tad bit . . . much.

Maps not released yet on the 360, but the 1200 points is confirmed.  I don't think I can do 1200 pts for 4 maps.   1200pts = almost 20 bucks.

Thats a freaking hard pill to swallow

/rant

So as a major software company that has released several versions across multiple platforms, they decided to charge more for a dlc than anyone else has to date (and I thought the 900 for cod2 maps was really high).  Not only this, but, they decide to do this a day or two AFTER releasing free content for one of the other (cheaper) versions and promising more free content for that version.

This seems slightly short-sighted to me.

/rant off.

<sigh>  That said... I'll probably pick it up regardless.  As long as enough people on my friends list also pick this up, it should be worth the money.

It just rubs me a bit raw.  I suspect that they'll sell less of this than they should have, and that even less people will be inclined to buy any additional content.

On the other hand, gamers like gamer points.

Don't know if I can do this.   I understand this is new ground, Thanks Bethsoft, but I have a issue paying  almost 20 bucks for 4 maps.

I'm undecided at this moment.  Sigh, who am I kidding I'll get it cause most of the people I play GRAW with will have it.  Its the nature of the beast I guess

Well, when they release the game of the year edition with the dlc included for the same price as the original release, I'm sure they'll have a nice surge in sales.

It really irks me the way they are apparently handling this.  My first reaction is to not buy it.  However, I like playing with my friends.

Actually, it's exactly $15 (1.25 cents per point).  That's still too much (it should've been half that price) but you could argue that it's almost $10 as much as it's almost $20. smile
