I haven't spent a ton of time online. That being said recently a buddy often and I have been having a fair amount of fun with it. I think once the heists and other content comes out his might be pretty damn fun.

I finally got tired of waiting for the stimulus package so I did an evening of races and had a total of $125,000 to buy an apartment. I got a nice one at the Royale Apartments. Six car garage too.

If you decide to upgrade to the 10 car apartment, be aware that they all have identical interiors.  The view is the only difference between a lower 200ks 10 car apt. (I recommend the Majestic) and the 400k luxury tower.  Of course, nearby activities/airports and ease of garage ingress/egress are also worth considering.

They all have identical interiors? That kind of sucks. I was hoping for something like in Test Drive Unlimited 2, where every place was unique and more opulent the more your spent.

I found TDU2's interiors to be like PSN Home. Lovely to look at the first time, but after that? Why the <bleep> do I want to be there?

They are all the same based on the number of spaces in the garage.  So there are three different kinds of interiors 2-car, 6-car, and 10-car apartments.  The main reason that you would want a 10-car apartment though is that only the high-end apartments have a heist planning room (it's the room with the big map of los santos) for setting up online heists.  And I think that is the reason why they set the interiors all the same, they didn't want to have to program the heist setup animations different for each apartment.

I watched like three hours of video of people playing this weekend.   smoke

I figure by the time it comes out on the PC I will already know the storyline paths and where all the cool shit is hidden. I can see my son now watching me play after just downloading it and going right to everything.

"How did you know that was there?" How did you know that?"

I will just smirk and tell him it is because daddy is ten times the gamer you will ever be. I know where to find loot in games they haven't even written yet.

Picked up the 10 car garage apartment over at Del Pierro Heights, apt 7 (cheapest one!).

Here's the garage:

The better view out the window (the other one sucks)

And what's across the street, guess I'll be spending a lot of time over there:

The new online creator has been patched into the game. I've made a new race and published it, the title is "Take Me Around The World!". Unsurprisingly, it's a race around the whole island. One lap is about nine plus minutes. My handle in GTAV Online is "jztemple2", you can search for the race on the Rockstar GTAVOL site, then search by crew, friends or whatever.

The creator for races is easy to use, I'll probably be playing with it a lot before I try my hand at the Deathmatch creator.

The race creator is a lot of fun, at least for me (I'm a suppressed course designer I guess). I've posted seven of them so far. I've only been able to get other folks to play one so far, but I guess there is a deluge of new courses out there, so it's to be expected.

Still using the Race Creator and having fun, although I can't seem to find people who want to race with me crybaby. I've posted sixteen so far. My last few have been concentrating on bicycle and motorcycle races on very tough courses.

32.5million copies sold

Quote
Previously declared the the "best-selling video game of 2013" in US, according to figures from US sales tracking firm NPD Group, GTA V looks set to soon break the record as the best-selling console game of all time.

The best-selling console game of all time (not bundled) is currently Mario Kart Wii, at 34 million units, meaning that Rockstar North has that record within reach.
