Yeah i would probably pick it up again for either PS4 or Xb1,and then you have the PC crowd who are still hoping it wont pull a Red Dead Redemption on them and turn up,Rockstar have just said yesterday or the day before "At this point there's really nothing for us to say about that." when answering questions about a PC version...well,it's not a No is it?

Someone has been enjoying your vehicles while you were away.  While I appreciate their effort to save space, parking on top of other vehicles doesn't really help.  Also, while creative, parking upside down is kind of a hassle for the next driver.

It looks like the upcoming PS4/Xbox One/PC versions of this game are more than simple ports with higher resolution and framerate. Digital Foundry took a deeper look at the reveal trailer and found a whole bunch of differences, both dramatic and subtle.

PS4 and Xbox One versions are coming November 18, with the PC version being released January 27. Lots of new features and improvements, and we're getting a new trailer later today. smile

Quote
Rockstar Games is proud to announce that Grand Theft Auto V will arrive on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18, 2014 with the PC version to follow January 27, 2015.

Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC will feature a range of major visual and technical upgrades to make Los Santos and Blaine County more immersive than ever. In addition to increased draw distances and higher resolution, players can expect a range of additions and improvements including:

-       New weapons, vehicles and activities
-       Additional wildlife
-       Denser traffic
-       New foliage system
-       Enhanced damage and weather effects, and much more

Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC will also feature enhanced radio selections with over 100 additional new songs and new DJ mixes from returning DJs across the game’s 17 radio stations.

All players who pre-order the game will get $1,000,000 in-game bonus cash to spend across Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online (GTA$500K each for your Story Mode and for your GTA Online in-game bank accounts).

A host of new, exclusive content also awaits for players returning from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions including rare versions of classic vehicles to collect from across the Grand Theft Auto series such as the Dukes, the Dodo Seaplane and a faster, more maneuverable Blimp; activities including wildlife photography and new shooting range challenges, new weapons and more.

Enhancements to Grand Theft Auto Online include an increased player count, with online play now for up to 30 players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. All existing gameplay upgrades and Rockstar-created content released since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online will also be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with much more to come.

Existing players will be able to transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to their choice of PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC. For more info about gaining access to exclusive content for returning players, please visit rockstargames.com/V/bonuscontent.

Stay tuned for a brand new trailer coming at 9am Eastern today – and for now, enjoy these sixteen new screenshots taken from the PlayStation 4 version of the game.

Wow, this is falling on a very busy gaming day.  Dragon Age and Far Cry 4.  Sorry, Rockstar, I won't be double dipping at this time. As much as I enjoyed it on the 360, I would play through again during a dry spell, like I did with Tomb Raider.

I love the new trailer. The graphics look vastly improved and the bits of content they've shown looks wacky and interesting. I skipped the last-gen version of this because I knew a next-gen version was coming, I'm glad I waited.

I'm thinking this is going to lose out to FC4 for me.  I will try and get it when it goes on sale eventually.

I'm not going to buy Dragon Age 3, and Far Cry 4 can wait since it's just another sequel to Ubisoft: The Game, so GTA 5 is at the top of the priority order for me. smile

While you're right about Ubisoft: the Game, Far Cry 3 just about perfected that for me (and Black Flag, too, apart from the unnecessary wall-sticking).  I have to say I'm looking forward to another round of U:TG.

I'll be getting GTA V and Far Cry 4, but I'll try to parlay at least one of those two into a birthday present the following week.  icon_biggrin

I did put about 10 hours into the 360 version of GTA V, but wound up giving it to my brother in favor of eventually finishing it on a next-gen platform.

I do want to play Dragon Age 3, but it will definitely take third position behind those two.

Since they decided to dick over PC users once again I'll probably just wait for a Steam sale before double dipping on a new version of this.

I'll be buying GTA V for YellowKing's birthday, then nonchalantly focusing on the road during the drive home.  I'll put it in a closet upstairs and divert my attention towards other things, but it'll all turn out half-assed because I keep blinking furiously and wiping the sweat from my brow.  Eventually I'll go take it out again, just to make sure it's still there.

Then there will be an uncomfortable scene about a week later as YellowKing's friends and family watch him tears open some wrapping paper to reveal a half-eaten Snickers.  Their uncertain eyes will turn towards me, partially because they'll still be unclear on who I am or how I came to be in the house.  And partially because I'll be furtively wiping my brow, looking at that Snickers.

From the looks of it, you aren't limited to console specific upgrade, ie, 360>XB1 or PS3>PS4.  I could take advantage of this when I pick up a copy later.

Ok, this might get me in the game a little earlier.

First person mode on console and PC.

Looks hectic and kind of fun.  Especially the bikes.

It actually looks like they put some work into this new mode too.

Also, I wonder how many attempts they needed to record those clips from the trailer. The driving/flying is absolutely insane.

From the IGN stream it sounds like there are a lot of options to it too.  So for instance you can set it to be in first person and have it drop to third whenever you go into cover like Rainbow Six if you want.   Also supposed to support left stick for sprint too.

Didn't realize PS+ was required for multi on PS4.  Since I hardly ever play multi, I didn't even think to look into it.  I guess I just assumed it would be the same as the PS3.  I've already got a plus account for the free games, so it's all good regardless.

That's not the case. You can only transfer your GTA Online progress, not the single player.

well, if you do decide to get it, the pre-order money for single player should help alleviate some of the early PitA moments if you want.
