I'm one of the cool kids now, I have an xbox 360! Oh, by the way, the cool kids have PS3 pre-orders, apparently, so you are tragically uncool. Don't worry, though. So am I.
I broke down and bought a PS3 today, mainly so my wife and I can watch hi-def movies. Can I be one of the cool kids now? Please? docD |

Are you recommending that as a Blu-ray purchase? Because that Blu-ray drove me nuts since the subtitle track is designed for the hearing impaired so it's not only the dialogue but all of the major sound effects. It's annoying as crap having to see subtitles for "Blam, Blam" whenever someone shoots a gun. |

Doc, you were always one of the cool kids in my book...
but then I was the inspiration for Weird Al's "White and Nerdy" so I'm not
sure that's saying much.
Make sure and check your local Gamestops for stores doing the "buy 2 get 4 free" on dvds.
It works for Blu-Ray and HD-DVD too.
Uncharted and Ratchet are great choices. I'm playing Uncharted now, actually, and
really enjoying it, especially given I don't usually play shooters.
