I can't look at the trailer yet since I'm at work, but if this game is anything like the original, it's going to be a blast.

When I saw that headline I nearly had a heart attack! ("GoW 2 Trailer!!!")
But then damn, it was just God of War.. and the excitement passed.

That game is really amazing looking, in fact, I'd go as far to say it looks as good if not better than some next-gen games.  What a talented dev team... I cant wait to see what they can do on the PS3.

Stuff like this makes me think Sony could have "won" this holiday season by just keeping the PS2 as the star. God of War, Rogue Galaxy, Guitar Hero 2, Okami, Final Fantasy 12 - many of the best games of the last year have been on the PS2.  Had they really pushed the PS2 I think they would have cleaned up on holiday sales.  Then they could have put out the PS3 next year and had an extra year to lower the costs.

Didn't they win anyway? I thought the PS2 still outsold the non DS consoles.

Could not agree more.  I know launching so long after the 360 was killing them though.  At least in their minds.  In mine, doesn't matter that they come out together ,and I would prefer they didn't.

But on this topic, I soooooooooooooooooooooo   want GoW2 to come out.  The first one and this one are the primary reasons why I will never chunk my PS2.

It's good to see that the sequel kept what made the first game so great - boobies.

I'm still playing the other GoW, but I've held onto my PS2 almost entirely because I know that this GoW2 is coming out.  Can't watch the video since at work now though; sob.

The trailer looks great. I just hope the sequel doesn't have anything like the Hades level in it. YUCK!

I still haven't finished the first game.  I got bored around the Challenge of Atlas area and never got back to it.
