Which console game was God-awful, Obnoxious And Terrible? In other words, what was your GOAT of the year for 2004? It might be the worst console game this year. It might just be one you had high hopes for and were dashed mercilessly to the ground.
Please vote from the choices above. I added any game to the poll that was mentioned at least 3 times in the previous GOAT thread.

Ehm... none of the choices above?
Spider-Man 2 was disappointing after all the hype, but I never bought the game anyway, I just borrowed it from a friend. No biggie there. I don't think it deserves to be labeled as God-awful. It wasn't, it was just a semi-boring game.
I don't think I played a single game that was God-awful all year long.

Hmm, none of those are really GOAT contenders. A goat is a complete failure of a game to me. While some people may not have liked some of those games, they generally had good reviews and were well received. A true GOAT would be a complete letdown of a game on most, if not all, categories. Fable and Halo 2 were under expectations, but definitely not GOAT levels. The problem with these boards is that we tend to weed out true GOAT games by our oustanding good-taste and word-of-mouth. Only the reviewers are really regularly subjected to GOAT games.

I'd say none of the above as well. A couple of them were dissapointing, but that's far different than being awful.

Spider-Man 2 was worth it just for the web swinging. That part is so fun.

With the exception of the console version of Mafia, I've played all of the games on that list and none of them were really terrible. But..if I had to pick one that I didn't like the most, I'd go with Spiderman II.
Alas, I accidently clicked "Halo 2" instead. Whoops. :?

Wow, everyone loved Spiderman 2 so far. Except AJ, who apparently mis-clicked.

No vote for me. Those games may not have hit spectacular levels, but at the same time, they are all good games. The funny thing is, most of those games are contenders for game of the year as well. Isnt that ironic.

I hated Spiderman 2. But it is a strange selection of games, especially when Driver 3 was released this year.

Halo 2.
Spoiler...
Another Halo ring and more running around to stop it from being activated? Fucking brillant.

I agree that Halo2 and FSW were major disappointments but they, in and of themselves, were nowhere near the stinking pile that Spiderman2 was.
