We need a copy of the leaderboard posted here :-)

I think I made it to 374,000 the other day - watching the video of that guy hit 2 million inspired me smile

you should see the videos of scores over 5 million...game supposedly stops getting any harder at that point, but it's already insane Cool

Woohoo!  Man, you guys weren't kidding... this game IS addictive.  Old-style arcade shooting action, wonderful!

I'm going to have to sharpen up to get up to the level of those guys hitting the millions; I played about an hour tonight and managed to hit about 488,000 at my best shot, but my average is about 200,000.  I really want that x10 multiplier achievement.  slywink  I have the hardest time with the ones that show up leaving behind trails, and with the massive flea swarms (I don't know what else to call 'em; the big batches of little guys swarming out of the corners).

897,640.... I was in zen tonight.  The key is that once you last a long time your multiplier gets so high that the score just starts pouring in - I actually survived 500,000 on my first guy, mostly due to an 8x multiplier making me hit it fairly quickly.

Worldwide high score is 12.8 million.         I thought my 1.2 mil was pretty impressive.

i'm officially part of the 'cool' crowd now...finally paid for the full version of GW.  i'm nowhere near a pro yet, but i have racked up a few nice achievements so far...picked up 'Survived 250,000' tonight and knocked Hetz's Evolved high score one more step down the leaderboard Tongue

The flea swarms, aka all those little blue circle seekers are the spawn of those large red circles.

I'm not sure what triggers them, but if one of the red circles stays on the field too long it'll explode and send out those little blue circles.  Since they're such small targets, move quickly, seek well, and come in such numbers I usually use a bomb to deal with them.

The red circles 'activate' once you've shot them once. At that point, they're like a mini black hole, sucking everything nearby into them.

Once they've 'absorbed' so many enemies (somewhere around 10, by my guess), they explode. However, you can shoot them a few times to get them to 'reset', thus allowing them to absorb even more enemies. Once you do that twice (from what I've heard), you then kill it for maximum points.

I have yet to break 250k. I'm beginning to think I never will. I've been devoting more time to Mustant Storm.

New convert, here!  After all the hoopla (and enjoying the demo I found in PGR3), I grabbed the full version and WOW am I horrible.  I'm sure it'll come to me...maybe.

Those stupid green things, always taunting me, juking around my shots.

Some of you guys have really high scores - got any advice for a n00bie mcn00ber?

My advice is to play at least one game of GeoWars a day. Oh and have Dimmona on your friends list to have his high score taunt you

Sad part is I think I've only broken 700k once or twice since then even though I was playing 3-4 games a day pretty consistently.  Alls it takes is one really good run with a high multiplier and the score shoots up expontentially....

I've gotten 818k... but that was a while ago.  I haven't mustered up the motivation to play as often as needed to build up to that level of play again.

Yeah, I just got the Survived 250,000 achievement a month or so ago. That was pretty big for me. I'm now in the high 300,000's....need to break 500,000. That is my next goal.
