You know what? Good for IGN. I'm happy they aren't giving games such crazy high scores anymore for medicore games. I bet a year ago this would have gotten a 8.9 or something.

Actually it looks like gamespots reviews is not really going to be the average. I preordered this and if gamespy and others rate it good, I`ll grab it. Otherwise, I`ll move that money over to Metroid for thr DS next month! So, any impressions of Black here???

After playing the demo more I have already decided that my downpayment money will go to GRAW or something else. I just see this as a rent now. I am looking forward to it, but with Fight Night almost here from Gamefly and Ghost Recon just around the corner, I see Black fading into...well, black.

This pretty much confirmed my fears from the demo- I really need a decent variety of gameplay and a good story to get into a FPS these days. I'll be cancelling my preorder and picking it up once it hits $20.

I think the game is awesome based onthe demo, but I see it getting old quickly AND at only 6-8 hours I will definately be renting this one.
