GameSpot posted a hands-on report on Fable: The Lost Chapters for PC.  Some highlights:
Quote
The new content in the PC version is literally a lost chapter that was cut from the Xbox version, so we can expect a slightly longer game as well. This new content includes nine new regions to explore, 16 new quests, new monsters to battle (including an impressive ice creature), new "expression" animations (such as the ability to play air guitar), new weapons, armor, and accessories (such as hats and other headgear), and the ability to create and import your own tattoos to plaster on your character's skin.

Quote
...as expected, the PC version boasts higher-resolution textures, so everything looks better, as well as higher resolutions in general, so everything looks crisper. Another benefit of the PC version is much quicker load times, particularly when you transition from one area to another.

I have to say I'm looking forward to this.

I wonder how they handled the targeting for the PC. The Xbox can be somewhat irritating at times.

It sounds very good. I really wanted to try Fable out again recently and then said to myself "you gave it up because of the load times, just wait for the PC version"

So yeah, this sounds really good.

I really enjoyed the X-Box version.  As long as you don't buy into the hype (most of which came from Moloneaux himself), and take it for what it is - a basic hack-n-slash with an interesting social system - it is a really entertaining game.  The ending is horrid, but I'm used to that in games nowadays.

The game industry has been kickin' us in the ol'  beanbag with "Pathetic Ending Sequence.MPG" for so long, we've all developed callouses.
