And I mean quality movies not half-assed crap.
My List:
Any Blizzard game (probably Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo in that order) Baldur's Gate series
Hmmm it's late and I know there are more, but I'm brain dead at the moment. Anyway, start your lists!

I don't really trust anyone to make a quality movie from my favorite games. Everytime I think about it I just imagine all the horrible things that could go wrong. The stories of my favorite games, like Baldur's Gate, strike me as far too complex and long to condense into a 2 hour movie.
I just can't imagine some games being turned into movies. I can almost invision Starcraft, but not really Diablo. Warcraft could be fun if the story was right and the budget was unprecidented. Baldur's Gate is simply huge and I see another Dungeons & Dragons being puked onto the screen.
That said, Metal Gear Solid could make a good franchise.

I would like to see Jagged Alliance 2, and Warhammer 40K Dawn of War made into movies.
Oh, and Aliens Vs. Predator 2.

Wait, what was the question?
Seriously, its hard to power a 40 hour game into a 2 hour movie, ya know?

Part of me thinks all game movies will suck - that's the nature of making an interactive mediuma static one. However, another part of me says, Myth the movie would be cool if casted and written well. "Give me the head, and I'll let you live..."
Fallout movie would end up like Mad Max beyond thunderdome (AKA Someone Needs to be Killed For Making This POS.)
Most FPS' are little more than many actions movies already, so no real benefit there.
System Shock 2 could be an OK atmosphere movie. But they would almost certainly focus on the action rather than the three different perspective sotrylines.

I'd love to see Black and White on the big screen. Also X-Com would be great, minus Will Smith..please no Will Smith.

Starcraft Yes! A Peter Jackson-esque trilogy even! Blizzard needs to start a freaking movie studio. And Metal Gear Solid is another good one. The first game could be an awesome movie.

Planescape Torment. Done properly or else I kill. I weep for it to come out. I just had a thought regarding this. What if someone did a Planescape movie in the CG-anime style of the latest Appleseed film? Personally, I thought that flick kicked mountains of ass despite not making a lot of sense. But a Planescape movie in this style? Monumentally cool in my opinion.

Grim Fandango as a 3D animated feature. Hell, I've already sworn to myself that when I form my own studio, one of the projects I'll try to option is Grim Fandango and get Tim Schaefer on with me.

Ignore the user feedback - it's a strange, but pretty dang cool flick. I was thinking more of the style in which it is animated for a Planescape film.

Wouldn't Planescape more like an epic mini-series on HBO? Grim Fandango as a 3D animated feature. Hell, I've already sworn to myself that when I form my own studio, one of the projects I'll try to option is Grim Fandango and get Tim Schaefer on with me. Where can I get the tickets? Grim Fandango is one of my top three games of all time. Pixar could do a helluva job on it. On the same stream of thoughts, an animated feature of Monkey Island would be pretty awesome.

Any Bioware game would do much better as a tv series (or mini-series) since they're way too much to compress into a movie. I'd also like to see games like Deus Ex, Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six as TV series As for movies, none really until Uwe Boll is dead and crucified on the Hollywood sign.

Warcraft - grab Peter Jackson, plop him on the director's seat and give him a huge budget. This could be the next Lord of the Rings.
Metal Gear - This movie would be simply PHENOMENAL (just look at the cutscenes in the Metal Gear Solid games to understand). One requirement: Get Hideo Kojima himself to direct/supervise it.

Actually, for Metal Gear, Hideo is way too wordy and the whole thing is a melodrama. They'd have to tone down the massive monologues, although they can keep the paranormal elements.

I didnt list games like Metal Gear Solid, Splinter Cell and a few others because I pictured the butchering that would occur. Snake would suddenly become some sissy who only fights ebcause he has to, and there would be some love interest crap that wouldnt play out well. I mean I remeber Dungeons and Dragons the movie, and street fighter. Lets just say I'd ratehr leave some games alone on principle

How would that make an interesting movie without devolving into another "kill the xeno" film? The gameplay just doesn't lend itself to the silver screen in any way I can see that would make sense without losing the X-Com feel. There just doesn't seem to be much backstory if I recall. I'm honestly surprised we having seen a Splinter Cell movie yet.

I pictures Aliens for how the X-com movie should go. High on Suspence, a scarrier movie than usual. Marines going forward slowly and then blammo a laien appears out of nowhere and kills one or two before the other marines get it.
They could easily make it 2 or 3 part movie, with the final movie about going to the Alien homeplanet to fight them.
