Well, I think everyone is just going to have to face the fact that the V.I.P. System is going to absolutely kick ass.  This, along with online leagues, and the ability to prepare for each game (if you desire), and the improved salary engine is going to up the ante' big time for everyone.

Mark my words, this is Game of the Year potential.

Assuming of course that it all actually works!

I may be a huge fan of Visual Concepts... but I am a skeptical one also.

You want to know what I find really ironic about this...

(Madden fans, don't get pissed about me saying this, it's just my warped opinion)

In reality, based on quality, it should be the competition that sells for $10.00 and ESPN that sells for $60.00


$10.00 for the game I will spend more hours playing this year than any other game I buy, INCLUDING PC games.  (assuming the running game is fixed).

This whole thing just borders on the absolutely absurd!

I think by looking at the ranks, we can get an idea of what the numbers are. Obviously its lowest - highest. I'll also note that a few mid ranged teams share the same/nearly the same overall rating

HELP. I have some ESPN NFL 2K5 Questions.

1. I know how to download and save someone's VIP off XBOX Live. I thought you can play that person's VIP in a game? I have loaded the VIP but when I go to quick and use the right joystick control it will not show up.

2. How do you view your own Online User Card? I can see other peoples but not mine.

There's probaly an easier method to check out your own player card, but I just create a quick public game and check it there.  You should show up (if you made your game public) and just right click on the thumbstick.

Sorry I've been out of the loop on this game for a week.  I had a personal tragedy in my life over the past week.

I've played this game about 45 minutes, maybe less.  Anyway, the problem above resulted in me not having a review done in a timely process.  Someone else on the staff was kind enough to get a review done and it is in the stages of editing towards its final showing.  I still plan on reviewing Madden 2005, but we'll see how I'm feeling at that point.

I still plan on doing the tournament and season, but I may have to bow out.  I'm happy they start at least somewhat into August.  At this juncture, playing games is the furthest thing from my mind, but that isn't to say I won't get the feeling back, you know?

Anyway, in case some of you were wondering where I was hiding, I'm back somewhat now.  If I ever see any of you on I may just ask for a game or something
