I know I'm in the minority, but I'm still not interested. I'd rather have something like Rainbow Six where I can walk and shoot as the person than basically playing a game of chess. Once again, I'm sure I'm in the minority here

Yeah I regret that while at E3 I never got a chance to swing by and try out Full Spectrum.
So now I just got back from a quick trip to EB where I just plopped down my $100 to pre-order Riddick and Full Spectrum. God man, two gorgeous games being released on the same day, and both with great early reviews. I doubt I'll get any sleep this week.
Was tempted to place an order for Malice too, but this whole quiet release scares me. No E3 showing, No early reviews, all these delays and publisher swapping all just scream that this game is gonna bomb. Which is too bad, cuz I was interested in it.
But anyways back to the topic. I'll be down for some multiplay action too, but considering the IGN review stating that the 45 minute training tutorial is absolutely necessary first, it might be a week or so before i've had enough time with the game to be ready for an online match.
But I do agree with you AgtFox, I'm more of an action guy. So I'm worried that I'll be too seperated from the action in FSW to find it really engaging. Pretty as hell though.

Yeah, both games look really good graphically (Riddick and FSW)...I'm just not sure I'm up for either. Next purchased game will probably be Spider-Man 2 for me.

Spiderman 2 looks great as well.
I will be buying FSW, and Spiderman 2.
I will definitely rent Riddick though.

Concerns from the review: - 11 to 14 hrs of single play - game reaches a certain level and then doesn't progress beyond that, even before you're done(equates to possible bore after awhile) - limited modes of online play
Another possible concern I heard about somewhere was the AI of your team, where they have tunnel vision when travelling to any destination you assign them, and will not stop to confront a hiding enemy, who then wipes 1 or more of your team out. Don't know how much truth is into that, but I'd love to get some perspective from some of you when you try the game out.
Will wait for CG impressions/reviews before I think about purchasing.

I was a little confused by that review. He gave it an 9.2 and praised it, but kept having reservations about the length of the game and the limited multiplayer modes.
I still can't put my finger on just what the devs are trying to achieve. No doubt it looks good, but it just seems rather limited. I suppose it was really meant for Live play, but the lack of modes seems to be a drawback.
I was never on the bandwagon for this title like some of you, but I will pick it up when the price drops.

On the tunnel vision while running thing, I think I can go along with that. If you're in combat, and you get ordered to run somewhere, you're probably going to be running full-out to get there, not stopping to look for enemies.
Also, I'm not sure what you meant by "hiding". Are they talking about enemies that haven't been spotted yet, or spotted enemies that are hiding in cover. In the former case, they're hiding, and shouldn't be spotted while the soldiers are running. In the latter, if you know an enemy's there, you should be moving in a bounding formation anyway. You can't expect a soldier to stop in the open and fire at an enemy. Their priority should be to get to cover, and fire from there.
I suppose we'll see tomorrow. Definitely IN.

I'm on Mission Five now - this game continues to be awesome and the story is revealing itself.
This is must-play stuff.

honemoon is over for me. It's a cool game, but there are too many things that bug me, and it's starting to get boring.

I'm into the 5th mission as of this morning as well.
Going to agree with Driver here. This is an excellent game.
I actually put off buying Psi-Ops to make sure I finish FSW.
