Holy shit, I actually finished a game!  (Mass Effect)  Other than finishing Zelda Phantom Hourglass, I don't think I can remember the last time I finished a game before getting distracted by something new and shiny.

Update...

I'm still going the wrong way. The Amazon and Circuit City 20% off sale on DS games added five more games to the collection. A friend gave me two more, and the Circuit City 50% off PC games 19.99 and under just added one more.

Sigh.

Games Added in 2008
Math Play (DS)
Spiderman 2 (DS)
Shrek Smash & Crash Racing (DS)
Endless Ocean (Wii)
Battalion Wars 2 (Wii)
Elite Beat Agents (DS)
GoldenEye (DS)
Children of Mana (DS)
Tak The Great Juju Challenge (DS)
Eragon (DS)
Digimon World Dawn (DS)
World Wide Soccer Manager (PC)
Enemy Territory Quake Wars (PC)
Transformers: Decepticons (DS)
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Sage (DS)
Mario Cart (DS)
Pokemon Pearl (DS)
Mario Party (DS)
TMNT (DS)
StarFox (DS)
Il2 1946 Sturmovik (PC)

Games Finished or Otherwise Removed from My Collection in 2008
Math Play (DS): Tried, didn't like, sold
Darkstone (PC): Finished a while ago, just sold

Total to Date
: +18, game increase

Adventure to Date: Resounding Failure

Beat: Uncharted
Traded In:
Crackdown
Just Cause
Mario and Sonic at the Olympics

Picked up nothing, so I just gained 4. I am plus 6 overall.

Still looming;

Valkyrie Profile 2
Legend of Zelda Twighlight Princess
Both Disgaea's
Odin Sphere
Battalion Wars 2
A Pile of Virtual Console games

Those are the only ones I feel like I need to keep playing, I have a bunch of other stuff I could play, but mainly hold onto for nostalgia/rarities sake.

If you're interested in keeping track of your backlog, there's a site called Backloggery that you can use to track games playing/completed/mastered/etc.
