There is a pretty cool video feature up on Gamespot about the NES. It's about 45 minutes long.

Really brings back memories....   biggrin

You said Flashback and I thought:

Still, I absolutely remember every one of these games!

I still want to know what the hell the deal is with a game called Golgo 13, and the bug that has all of the character's dialogue replaced with "...".

But besides that, man, I loved my NES.

It wasn't a bug. It was a way to indicate pensive thought.

Hot chick Spy 1: Goglo 13, I'm actually you're daughter.

Golgo 13: ....

My friend I would always say 'Hmmm.' when the ... came on the screen.

Watching the Flashback video feature last night, I made up my mind that I will be getting a Revolution. I have to play Mega Man 2. I have to play Mario 3. I have to play Contra (just hope the code works, 'cause I'll need it). The thought of Playing Dragon Warrior actually freaks me out a little. I started to squirm when those slimes popped up. I have to play Zelda. And Bionic Commando? Super Mario Brothers 2? I need them.

Revolution is going to fucking own ... as long as the third party games make it onto the system.

No, unfortunately they didn't. It was a classic game, but not as great as the other titles they talked about in the article.

Great video though. Highly recommended to anybody who played the NES way back when.

I just finished Bionic Commando again about a month ago.  I love that game SOOOOO much.

I tried getting in to the GBA Bionic Commando, but the controls were just too weird.  Felt like I was running on ice, and there were other things I didnt like.  And, of course, the screen area was way too small.

I even play Zelda 2 again every once in a while.  I'm probably in the minority, but I REALLY liked that game.
