Nice!

Downloading... I always look forward to these little trials, even though I've only bought Geometry Wars, Gauntlet, and SmashTV.

It's fun.  I'm still going to buy Zuma and probably Bejeweled first.

Bejeweled=fun, but damn the acheivments are tricky and time consuming. 280 levels on endless mode? Argh!

Been looking forward to Feeding Frenzy, thanks for the heads up, a must download for me once I get back home tomorrow.

How's Jewel Quest anyway? Doesn't look very original.

Jewel Quest was out on the PC and mobile for quite a while, so it's not original in that sense.  What makes it unique, though, is that the puzzles are on a grid that is usually not a square (ie nooks and crannies) and you must clear every tile of that grid.  You clear a tile by having the piece on it be part of a cleared row of three.  The boards are timed, and that leads to the frustration/fun.  My biggest complaint with the 360 version is that the board is too small.  The grid should take up most of the screen, but its in a smaller box that is on the screen.  Makes it a little squint-inducing, IMO.

Feeding Frenzy is a blast, however.  I've always liked this game, and it just seems better with the controller.  I am annoyed that I played through the first fish in trial mode, but that achievement wasn't unlocked when I got the full game, but I guess it won't take too long to redo.

Neither do I. Do you just swim around and eat fish until you grow bigger and can eat bigger fish ad nauseum?

You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

I got pretty bored.  I could see how things would get challenging with the jelly fish added and such, but playing through the demo really did nothing to make me want the game.  I am passing on it.

Tried the demo.  I can't say I was impressed at all.  It seems like the weakest arcade entry thus far.

Are you perhaps thinking of Insaniquarium not Feeding Frenzy?

I think it'd be perfect for my little sister.  It seems that Xbox Live is where all the kids games will be, at least until Via Pinata comes out.

I'm thinking that since MS promoted the system as mainly an adult's system, considering the price, look, and content of release games.  Even Kameo, the most kid-like game was violent and bloody.

Well, this one has violence, but it's more natural violence.  Tongue

My little sister, a 9 year old, loves Hexic and Zuma.  I think she'd enjoy this one and will be buying it for her.

I actually bought this over the weekend.. because my kids love it...

really not bad, just gets hard at the end.. I think it takes to long for the difficulty to ramp up.

I made it to the end.  Had plenty of lives, but the shark ate me and the whole thing just locked up.  Had to restart the system and everything.  Sucks!
