What a great game this is.

I am 4 hours in and it's, thus far, one of the most fun games I've played on xbox.

Right, sure you didnt. Looks "bored". Sure.

Im waiting for the Lost Chapters ATB-but I am glad you are enjoying it. I booted it up on the xbox a few days ago and ran around for a few minutes ago-forgot how good the game looked.

We posted 10 individual PR pieces, and 38 screenshots on the original Fable alone.

How could you possibly miss it?

Fable was a mixed bag for me... parts I loved other parts just seemed mediocre.  I loved the graphics and sound, not to mention the open ended elements.  I like how you could be good or evil and it actually had an effect on things and people around you.  I didnt like the main quests in this game.  They were somewhat boring.  Keep in mind, I came into this game with high expectations.  I would say Fable is a great rental if you have expectations and a purchase if you havent really heard too much about the game(which I thought was pretty unlikely).

Good, you're halfway done with the game (seriously, it took me 8 hours to beat because I found the side-quests boring).

GoneGold covered PC gaming at that time.  We did not.

For console I would imagine it would still be better to wait-but its going to be a wait. No release date yet, but likely around Christmas for the straight-to-Platinum XBox version. I am getting the PC version as soon as it comes out. I'm excited.

Well, I'm not a power gamer, so I'm assuming it will take me quite a bit longer.

Also, I'm actually enjoying the sidequests...so there smile

Not a power gamer, eh?  Then add an hour.  Seriously the game moves very quickly after a certain point.  The side-quests disappear unless you try to figure out how to open all the talking doors.

No joke. Very linear game, pretty, and short. Even taking your time, which I did, I still beat it in a week or so. And that's playing a few hours every day. I enjoyed it as more of a Maximo-clone than Teh Uber-RPG OMGLOLWTF!!11! Peter Molyneux promised everyone. Since you went in with no expectations, bully for you because you'll enjoy it about 1000 times more than anyone else will. slywink

BTW - you've got Snail Mail. biggrin
