Decent review. I never expected this one to be halfway decent at the very least. I guess it's one of those "dang-all-the-other-good-games-are-sold-out-so-I-might-as-well-get-this-so-I-have-something-to-play-at-system-launch" titles.

this is definately one of those titles where the whole is actually better than the sum of its parts. Did I say that right? Yeah, the whole package is better than looking at each individual part of the game.

Thanks for the review. I do wish they had at least put in AI racers for MP. Don't suppose there's any chance they would add that in later...

this game just gets better. I really like how everything works. You can string boosts, all kinds of alternate routes, and the challenge is really there. I even like the AI, it's not quite rubber band but it's not stupid follow the same line and turn perfectly. The cars will use the powerups you hit to their advantage, are capable boosters, and really give a solid challenge without being cheap or stupid. The race leader won't slow down because you're behind him, but he won't win the race by 40 seconds either.
