I think the Dolphins are giving Ricky a few days to think about things.  Ricky Williams can change his mind as easy as it is for us to flip the on/off switch.  They'll probably call him in a couple days and coerce him into coming back.

Wannstedt's ass is on the line at the moment if Ricky doesn't come back I'd say.  Early word on ESPN last night was the Dolphins trying to go after Anthony Thomas of the Bears if Ricky doesn't change his mind.

I'll take the jets, I've decided there is no real difference between them except the Saints will probably have a much better season and thusly be better later on after updates, and everyone needs every advantage they can get on me

I only prefer the Saints to the Jets cause I was a local fan of the Saints at one time.  

Personally, I think Pennington will emerge as one of the best QBs of the league this year.

Well... hate to do this to you folks, but I'm going to have to bow out of the League.  I'll still play tournaments every now and then, but I'm just not going to play enough of this game to be competitive in a league.

To compete you dont need thousands of hours under your belt.  The problem is,.. When you play the computer, Pro is too easy and All Pro is downright brutal.  Since you play online on All-Pro you assume everyone else is amazing when in fact All-pro online is probably making the game easier for people to play.

Why don't you just go ahead and host it then.  Everyone who claimed their teams in this thread has already said they want in a league.  So, let the team claims stand and host it if you want.

Here is a snippet from the official forums today by someone from VC.  It looks like they are going to address some of the League and Tourny problems after all.  



"For starters, there were a few changes made during the maintenance this morning. Nothing ground breaking, but if you are experiencing new problems since this morning please let me know here and I'll pass it along. Of course, if the online experience is better we would love to hear that too. Regardless, we are still working to improve things.

I do have some good news. Our league web admin has been working hard on a web-based solution to the "What do you mean I can't replace deadbeat owners?" problem. It is in test right now and if all goes well we will activate the feature on the league web site on Monday (8/9). "


Good News indeed.  If they allow deadbeat owners to be replaced, and allow commishes to reset games in case of a disconnect then the online leagues/tournaments will be very viable.  Does anyone think this anouncement coming today has anything to do with EA's announcement for online leagues yesterday?
