The demo is up for download. From what I played at the 360 tour it seemed quite fun, and it has co-op. Not sure if the demo has co-op, but the game itself does.

I just finished listening to the book two weeks ago at which point I learned about the movie. Didn't know a game until just now; I'll have to check it out...

i downloaded it for a laugh.
pretty blah - unimpressive graphics, sometimes the camera is way too far away, combat sort of boring and not very fluid. its looks like LOTR games, but not as fun

Huh. I found the combat to be quite fun. Mostly the grapple moves. I discovered that you can play the demo co-op as well. Eragon's mentor, whose name escapes me at the moment, has some really fun moves.

I second and third Bullwinkle's impressions. Can we say uninspired action gameplay... I remember playing something like this called Lord of the Rings, and it looked and played a lot better.
