Just via the last page of the new EGM I can confirm Perfect Dark...as a launch game! It's next month's EGM cover story. I personally can't believe Rare will have a game done for a launch...but what do I know?

X-com is a license that's just ripe for a remake, and someone out there has the license. So, if it's ever going to happen, it'll happen soon.

The reward for the current Ourcolony.net challenge is this: I'd say Perfect Dark Zero will indeed be a launch game.

Secret of Vulcan Fury is way overdue for a release. Who owns the property and the code/content now anyways?

Secret of Vulcan Fury is way overdue for a release. Who owns the property and the code/content now anyways? The title was cancelled ages ago. I think it was originally suppose to be out around the time of the original Fallout. The code is long since useless since it was never near completed. What is desired is the audio part of the story recorded by the entire original cast. The last thing they ever did together. The rights to Star Trek reverted back to Paramount but the content of the game belonged to Interplay and Interplay initally wanted a huge amount of money for it. Interplay have been approched several times by people who either wanted to use the audio and the story for a game or an animated feature. Last fall, two things happen. With the annoucement of the Star Trek MMO, Terri Helton, Executive Vice President of Viacom Consumer Products said that there are several Star Trek games in development, including one that was previously cancelled and corspe of Interplay got a large chunk change fron a source they weren't able to disclose but it wasn't from the selling of IP. Now it could be one of the titles activision was working on as well but signs point to this game

Sad. You mean no show at all for E3? That is sad. Yup. According to IGN, a Kameo video came on whenever it was supposed to be PD. Accident? Nah, they realized how hard everyone blasted what little was shown of the game on MTV.

Oh...well, the game could still be shown off at E3, possibly behind closed doors (like Halo 2 last year) or maybe out in the open...we shall see.
Kameo looked good in the video honestly, but PDZ is the one with the bigger chance to be a system seller.

I remember seeing some of the Vulcan Fury pics in PCGamer way back when. Kirk, Spock, and McCoy for the win!
