Wait, Vita is available through AT&T only?  Did I miss something?  I must have misunderstood that, but the crowd sure didn't like it.

The crowd laughed/booed over it. Go crowd!

3G plans through ATT only.

Thank God.  I even use AT&T, but I hope not forever.

Good grief, we're basically getting 2 whole Uncharted games within a single year, maybe even 6 months.

One game does not make a system though, they better show a lot more games.

Fucking ATT. Way to shoot yourself in the foot with an otherwise awesome looking piece of hardware.

ATT is all but useless where I live.

So this isn't Torchlight for Vita?

Looks decent enough, though.

I'd like to know what the pricing is going to be to continue the game on the PS3.

If I have to buy the game twice:  finger

They've been pretty good with minis and PS1 games, so there's hope.

They're probably running around getting final builds and videos just before going on stage. These things literally get finished moments before the guy goes on stage.

And yeah, the gamer belly doesn't help.

With both Wifi and 3G models, that means multiple prices, which no doubt, will be a LOT of money.

Hopefully not as much as people are expecting. I'd say $300 or so, but hopefully less.

All the tech in the system is stuff that's been out for a while now, used in smart phones, other game systems, laptops, and more. But that doesn't mean it will be any cheaper, but it does bode well for the price dropping faster over time.

Pretty interesting inclusion there for SFxTekken. And I almost thought they wouldn't show gameplay.

Meh. I am only interested in the wifi model.

On the SF x Tekken topic. It is pretty lame that the Capcom guy has to milk the crowd for applause.

I think it's safe to say Sony learned from their mistake of high cost.

And looks like them using primarily proven technologies paid off.

Although, I just know they have a revision with the Go's clam or slider format in the works, especially since developers have actually been working on slider versions of the hardware.

So, Nintendo is in a VERY bad position right now, and it'll be quite interesting to see what happens with them tomorrow. The problem is a few fold:

1) They're basically forced to launch a console system right now, despite the Wii's bigger cousins having at least a full year, if not two, before they even THINK about talking about a successor. But why do they have to do this?
a: Loss of developer support. Everyone knows the saying, "Only Nintendo's products sell well on the Wii," and it's sorta true.
b: Developers aren't working on the console because it requires a total rewrite of their games, as the Wii isn't anywhere near powerful enough to take a port.
c: Sales are faltering, and have no chance of recovering right now, thus forcing their hand.
d: 'Waggle' isn't anywhere near as entertaining as it was when it launched, and is basically outclassed by Kinect and Move.

2) Unlike the last decade or so, Nintendo now has a serious competitor in their handheld department. The PSP was a threat for a while, but the DS quickly outpaced it. Now Sony is putting up a hell of a fight with their $250 (same price as the 3DS) PSVita, offering all of the same features that the 3DS has and then some (dual analog, front/rear cameras, dual touchscreens), but unlike the 3DS (which is about as powerful as the Wii), the PSVita is some 75% of a PS3.

TLDR version: Nintendo is in trouble. Their conference will be quite interesting tomorrow.

The one thing that might work in Nintendo's favor, at least in the short term, is that a new, more powerful system launched now could [potentially] get ports of PS3/360 games and [potentially] have the best looking versions of those games.
