Just finished downloading it.  Going to try it now.

Didn't care for it all myself.  Plus it ran worse than any demo I have ever tried to play.  Hated it.

FPS multiplayer.  Not bad.  My demo ran fine.  Three different classes of character (light medium & heavy).   I played a heavy soldier going for big power.  The weapons were rather useless (except for the minigun) and slow to fire.

The mp map I played on was pretty standard and overall it was kind of 'meh' but I'll probably give it another go. :|

I was gonna try it but all the big sites plus Valve posted about it and now thier site crawls. I watched a video of it and was not impressed. Only 1 map too.

It's in beta - think I'll wait for the full release, but it strikes me as a low-rent Matrix clone. You know, like Matrix Online.

I'm enjoying it so far - best way to describe it is team-based System Shock 2.

It's a bit disapointing.  There's no use of cover at all, a lot of strafing and such, makes it too much like Quake 3 with cyberpunk quirks than a gritty cyberpunk game.  I mean, even in Ghost in the Shell the characters were always taking cover.

This is because the mappers didn't put anything but vertical cover, so no low walls, steel desks, etc...  And no lean keys.

The maps are also too maze-like for actual useable facilities.

I agree with this. I know that it was basically a test map but that one is pretty bad.

I about freaked out when I saw the website.  It sounds almost exactly like the mod I am currently working on for UT2k4...Thankfully, from reviews and feedback, this is not the case.  *whew*

You have a mod for UT2004 in the works?  One that's cyberpunk?

I must know more!

You're welcome to know me.  I'll send you email on it.  Problem is, I'm only really good at level design..so it's a design document at this point.  I lack the skills for custom models and the code.

On the up side, I do have a band lined up to do the music.  smile  (I'm serious too. smile  They liked the idea of putting their music on an UT game mod.  Free publicity!)
