DVD Movies to PSP?

I haven't explored this much, but can I rip DVD movies to my PSP now?  I thought you could copy down other movie formats, but was never sure if I could pop in my dvds and copy them down.

So, if I want to copy Batman Begins to the PSP, what do I need to do, and how big a memory stick do I need?  Is it easy, long, etc.?

Since Batman Begins is over 2 hours, you're definitely going to need at least a gig of memory.  I crammed Star Wars IV onto a 512mb stick, but I had to reaally drop down the video quality.

I followed this How-To guide, which is a bit technical. There's probably a better method out there by now.

Yikes, still kind of painful it appears.  I'd love to be able to drag and drop, or something similar.  I'd love a device that did this fairly easily.

I think that article is needlessly complicated. I use two programs to rip video to the PSP. I use DVD Shrink to rip the DVDs to my hard drive, and then I use PSP Video 9 to convert  the VOB files into MP4 files in the appropriate screen resolution. Takes about 15 minutes to rip the DVD and an 1 to 1 1/2 hours to rip a movie length to MP4. I'd recommend having at least a 1 GB stick for a two hour movie.

I have a half gig memory card and I can get a 90 min movie onto it with room to spare.  


Also I use DVD Decrypter and PSP video 9.  Whole process takes a little less than 2 hrs.
