Interesting. They've had an early version of this up on the Unreal Engine site where it was simply a Tower Defense clone. That version only had the players as Mages defending a simple dungeon. The trailer showed multiple classes and different environments. I hope it does see XBLA time soon!

I might be willing to give this one a try when it comes out.  Looks like a cross between Torchlight and tower defense, which sounds like fun to me as long as I can play single player.

My brain doesn't comprehend two threads with the same name.  Thread titles need to fit in a set, not a list.  I mentally auto-merge the non-unique one into the pre-existing one. 

Also, I'm looking forward to the demo.  It just occurred to me that this is sort of like a one-team DOTA, so you really don't have to worry about the normal asshat factor that those games seem to foster.

I don't tend to trust the search and instead my memory and going back a number of pages is usually sufficient. I could say back at you because i'd argue my one link had more information than your various posts and would have been on the first page

If we're going by whether or not a thread is on the front page figures into whether or not a new one needs to be created then I have a whole bunch of threads to make.

Of course then those will push all the current ones off the page so I'd need to recreate those.

I'm trying to play this on the iPad but the buttons and stuff take up so much room. Egads! I may have to wait for the PC version. Fun game but the interface on the ipad is brutal.

Ugh, with Darkspore coming out end of March, I'm starting to not even care about DD.

they are demoing cross-platform play at GDC.  it's going to be between a PC and a PS3 and iOS and Android..

I've about farking had it with steam. This is bullsh*t and they've been pulling this crap a lot lately. How in the hell are we the consumers supposed to plan anything? You know what happens if I show up 12 hours early to a meeting at work? I get farking fired.

I doubt you'd be fired for showing up 12 hours early, probably just stared at and then talked about a lot.  12 hours LATE on the other hand would probably get you fired.

It looks a LOT worse on 360.  It's not really the type of game that will suffer from that though.  I REALLY wish they would hurry up and get a xbox out that will run things at 1920x1080. ARG!

I've been through this. I get my work done, usually prior to the deadline, and I always update my boss. Occasionally I've suggested we could just do something early (release update, roll out hardware, blah blah blah) and the response is always "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING?! We have an established timeline, DO NOT deviate. Start working on something else if you're bored."
