Dumb question about Forza...
«

I just rented this and was pissing around with it a little in the free mode on the dragstrip.
Problem is, where are the older classic car choices like the GTO or even a GNX?
All i'm seeing is late model stuff.
Thanks.

Classics are few and far between, there are only a few race series they are useful for and oprobably not many you can buy right off. If you go to "Buy a car" and browse around you should find some from each manufacturer, if they are locked you can still press "A" to select them and find out what you need to d to unlock them.
I have a 67 Stingray and 68(?) GT500 in my garage that were won as prizes from various race series. Pretty sure the GT500 was a prize in a mustang only race series. Vette may have come from a classics series (must have won it with the GT500 hehe)

Oh and go through arcade mode races to unlock more cars for free play (sorry just re-read your message and saw you were playing in free play).

Actually both the GTO and the GNX you listed are in the game.
I almost bought a GNX yesterday because I think those cars are awesome.

Thanks guys.
I earned enough to finally buy that 68 GTO, so now i'll start modding it
Another question: Since there's a dragstrip in free mode, does this mean there's one in career mode against opponents?
If so, i'll be buyin' this game quick-like.

I was going to say I don't believe there is a drag strip in Career mode, but realized I didn't know there was one in Free mode so I might just be clueless.
I've completed 25 or so tournaments/series and never seen a drag strip.

I think the drag strip is only in free mode.
