according to Twitter, April 1st was the day they would have announced DNF had gone gold. not sure how true that is but yesterday was offifically the first April Fool's day with no chance of a 'DNF has gone gold!' joke being true. |

Nope. 3DR probably doesn't have enough money to cover their legal fees. The boneheaded execs will shut everything down before dipping into their own pockets.

Even if Gearbox(I have liked most of their games) is doing the game is just don't care about DNF. yes Duke 3D was really fun in its day but that was like what 13 years ago now? Thats eons in game development time. Dunno I just think Duke is an overated IP in terms of its importance nowadays.

I'm surprised people are counting DNF out with Gearbox taking over... There aren't too many better FPS developers out there. Plus, Gearbox has co-developed a lot of games, so they are perfect in that regard.

Gearbox still I'd assume would have to keep the Duke theme which frankly IMO has long since lost is appeal. Duke 3D was in the equivalent of the Stone Age of FPS and a ton has changed. I just don't care about a shooter with a guy saying a bunch of juvenile one liners...boring.
