The incredibly cool slime controller for Dragon Quest 8 is coming to the US, according to 1Up.  It's pricey at $40, but it's great that it will be released here.

I remember when I first saw pictures of that.  And how incredibly bad I wanted that controller.

Now it is a reality.  I will re-live the days of killing off those slimes in Dragon Warrior I with that AWESOME controller.  What comes along with the controller?  Cramping?  Perhaps.  Uncomfortableness?  Maybe.  But holy crap is it beautiful.

I need one!

There's a possibility of a bundle pack with the game when it is released? I'm all about this!  Although at $40, I hope it's wireless as to not spoil the look of the slime.
