The downloadable armor in Dragon Age can be used in Mass Effect 2.  I have Mass Effect 1 on the 360, and will probably have ME2 on that as well.  I'm getting Dragon Age for the PC.  I are sad.   crybaby

I would assume that the code would be global (or at least global to the PC and 360 version). At least I'm hoping so - I intend to get the 360 version of ME2 and the PC one of Dragon Age.

Best videos so far... in german, but subtitled, and in HQ:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLqWZQ2WlQU&NR=1
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MdPFwfvCpD4&feature=related

The second one is particularly good.

The Marilyn Manson videos are dumb as shit, but whenever I see actual gameplay it looks awesome.

The PnP publisher's website says "September" but I know that when I looked at their site back when it was first announced it was clear that their Song of Ice and Fire RPG had missed it's release date already.  Even now that game hasn't fully been released (only one of what they call the "core" books is available.)  So who knows.

It's likely the Game of Thrones stuff is being set aside to put more work into Dragon Age.  As popular as Martin's books are, the setting doesn't seem to be selling well in the RPG crowd.  I think they're hoping that the flashier dragon age will pull more people in.

Also, looks like they have to develop a new rules system for it, which isn't easy.

considering how much pnp books seem to be going for these days (I remember paying about 20 bucks for 1st edition AD&D) it'd probably be an expensive combo if they do.

The Dwarven Noble origin is linked in that article too...and it sounds really interesting.  Some dark noble cutthroat politics in the house of the dwarven king.  And you get to play as one of the dwarven king's sons...that alone is cool.

I'm looking forward to reading about the commoner origins, and the wood elf.

I stopped watching any of these previews as I have preordered the game and no longer want any spoilers. It does seem like I may be able to play through this more than once which will be the first time I have ever done that.

I'm guessing that has more to do with unlockable stuff over multiple playthroughs, whereas the Dragon Age guy is saying one playthrough.  when I first read about the 120+ hours I assumed they meant playing all the different origins and possible paths through the game.

Considering that I put in just over 100 hours in plain, mostly-unmodded Oblivion before finishing it (and I didn't even come close to finding everything the game had to offer), I can see this being a possibility.

I think a lot of hours are very possible, albeit not necessary for completion.  Fallout 3 could suck up a lot more time then it took to finish, to name a recent example.

So no doubt there will be some jerk whining about how he beat it in two days or less while I'll be immersed for the 2+ weeks it will take me to put in 60 or more hours.

My first playthrough (and only full playthrough so far) of Baldur's Gate II netted me somewhere in the neighborhood of 150-200 hours played. It was ridiculous. So if Dragon Age really is a return more to that style of game design from Bioware, 120 hours isn't far-fetched.

It just remains to be seen if the game really is that deep and follows that sprawling style of game design. I hope it does, that's what I want to see.

How many origin stories are there? Like 7 or 8? So there is 900 hrs in this beast if you play through everybody? That would be pretty cool although I would never do them all. I spent about 120 hrs on Fallout 3 so I can believe this.

What do you have against her? She has a good voice for voice parts at least.

And I recognized her voice in the last trailer pretty quickly.

Why didn't they mention one of the most recognizable voices in the game - Simon Templeman.  You may better know him as Kain from the Legacy of Kain and Soul Reaver series.
