Bout time a new adventure game came out. This one looks pretty wicked too. This is the first I'd heard of it but damn it looks sweet.

I haven't even heard of this game. It looks good, have to see if I can pre-order it, otherwise, none of the brick and mortar stores won't even get it in... icon_smile

Oh man, that looks good.  Hmm, I may have to figure out how to slip that in the budget.

Bad huh? Ive never been much into adventure but starting last year i played a Sherlock Holmes game, some Longest Journey(never finished), and that old Siberia demo.

Has this company got a bad rep in these type games?

The Adventure Company has a reputation for shoveling out low quality, cookie-cutter adventure games.  They are associated with Dreamcatcher Interactive, who generally put out crapware games in other genres.

They were also major proponents of the "yes, we use Starforce and anyone who complains or has issues is a lying pirate thief" school of thought, to the point that they took down their official forums to squash public posting of complaints.

Yep, where games are the same, with a new setting. Not to mention that they like using Starforce. Or liked anyway. Not sure if they still use it. As pointed out, Dreamcatcher is their parent company. It's more or less just a division they've started using ever since they started publishing other type of games.
