Valentine's Day is fast approaching. So for geeks such as me, I have several video game characters that I find, well, not digitally "hot" or "cute", but certainly, if they were real, very datable and would be attractive if they were in fact real. So my first video game crush is on Karin Koenig of Shadow Hearts Covenant. She has wits, a nice smile, and is pretty funny. Though, she can sometimes be a tad bit emotional: My second video game character crush is on Lenneth Valkyrie from Valkyrie Profile. I like her hair, her blue outfit, and her determination. Though, sometimes she can be a bit, well, almost TOO physical for me: And lastly, Shion from the Xenosaga series has always had a soft spot in my video game heart. Those glasses (well, I did like her updated look in Xenosaga II), her intellect, and her undeniable charm makes me think that she is the tops: Wow. I can't believe I just made this post. Though, it's all because of Calvin and something he brought up in a GTalk conversation. But come on now! Don't be SHY! Who are your video game crushes?

Not a crush, but one of my favorite female characters in a game is April Ryan from The Longest Journey. If I met such a girl in real life, I would definitely ask her out.
Then again, I meet a lot of real women who are the same way in the animation program here (remember Spanish girl?) so I suppose I'm well off.

I think this is a perfectly respectable question - I'm sure he didn't mean "crush" in the real world sense, like - if you could... would you? Can't believe I said that!
I'd almost have to say Zelda, because I had to chase her all over several games, but I don't think that's quite it either... though Link would be "it" if he was a bit older...
This may take some pondering...

Oh okay, okay. No more razzing on Dep. These're not really crushes. More like, out of all the people in the games, they drew me in the most. The two Jedi ladies Bastila and Visas. Lulu from FFX. Annah from Planescape Torment. ..Now I feel all dirty inside.

what the heck is the lil thing with teeth and a tail? (not anna) Anna from Planescape with a leprachan (however the hell you spell it) outfit on. I remember her player character (so sue me - I loved the game). Just don't know where the heck the outfit came from (as that's most definitely not in the game).

I believe they did some special wallpapers to celebrate the game's release. Anna is a tiefling IIRC. My favorite (but only because I can't find any Phantasy Star IV pics):

Actually, it was a bonus outfit for Annah in PST. Yes, you downloaded the special "patch", and the next time you played the game, she'd be wearing the leprechaun outfit. They also released one for Morte, where he'd be a bouncing easter egg, with colored stripes. Also, I'm guessing that Doopri was referring to the other tailed fella, which was a little devil named Etna from Disgaea.

Actually, Doopri is asking about Etna from Disgaea. Despite looking like she's 12-14, she's actually 1000 years old. April Ryan looks like crap in the CG movies, but in game she's a real looker (if a bit skinny). However, I'm referring to the latest version of April from Dreamfall. She's the one in black on the left on the front page of this site: http://www.dreamfall.com/I should also mention the girl in the middle is Zoe, definitely good looking too. Hopefully I'll finish me illustration degree soon so I can get a job drawing these beautiful game characters.

April's still a looker in Dreamfall - The big plot twist in the game is that she was originally one of the Ringwraiths, and this is her without the hood on

Actually, this is a great thread. It's more about getting emotionally attached to the character because the games story was THAT good. Although, I wouldn't mine meeting any of these women in real life. Ok, so I had a crush on these rendered women. Here are mine from recent games: Olivia from Advent Rising Quistis from Final Fantasy VIII And of course I wholeheartedly agree with Fellow: Bastilla from Knights of the Old Republic I Visis from Knights of the Old Republic II You guys should check out this site I found while searching for images. This site should spark some conversation here: Bel's House of Rendered Women

I always liked Farrah from Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. I'd be running along, she'd suddenly exclaim, "Look, a crack!" and as I watched her wriggle her way into some filthy hole in the wall I'd think, "Man, she *really* doesn't want to hang out with my character!" Plus, I thought it was funny whenever she'd "accidentally" hit my character with one of her arrows. -Autistic Angel

What, no love for Handmaiden? Sure, she has no name, and sure she doesn't have that aura of exotic mystery that Visas has, but any woman who will strip down to lingerie to spar is definitely a keeper. Also remember Visas has some really ugly empty eye sockets under that hood.
