My brother has them (the original releases with boxes and manuals, not the cheap jewel case version) and was I wondering if its worth my while to borrow them. Can I get them to work in XP w/o a lot of hassles?

Actually I think I have problems running monkey island 3 on xp... Well it starts but it has troubles showing the movies. It skips them or something, I can't recall exactly.

They do indeed ... but Twinsen's Odyssey, unfortunately, does not.

I used scummvm when I wanted to play sam and max or DOTT. Works like a charm. Not sure if you need it for those games but it might be worth checking out.

Grim Fandango works on XP?
Damn, and I gave my copy away years ago. I'd really like to replay that one.

So long as you patch it, the games works great.
Burned through it about three weeks ago and I loved it.

**slaps forehead**
Never thought of that; I'd only gone as far as checking "Win95" compatibility mode.
Thanks!
