I think it looks alarmingly SMALL. I dont like small controllers, I am 6' 2" 220 lbs and am not interested in a controller that fits in a petite Japanese Man's Hands.

Im American Damn it, I like my Trucks Big and my Controllers big.

I still think the ends of the boomerang are going to be very uncomfortable for any length of time.  I guess I'll know once I get my hands on the Spider-Man 3...er...Playstation 3 controller.  (that font is still lame)

My hands are big enough that I can feel my fingers cramping already.

The Dual Shock was already too small for me, that looks even worse.

If it's dual shock, I think I'll get one for my wife as an anniversary gift next year.

not the system, just the controller.

It looks absoutely horrible; however, Sony's not dumb enough to change the shape of their controller like that unless it really is a lot more comfortable than it looks.

Here's hoping it works for us folks with giant hands smile

Ya know, it won't 'dual shock' if it isn't plugged into the console in question.

Remember the good old days, when everybody was bitching about how big the PS3 controller was going to be?

LOL that's the first thing I said when I saw the PLAYSTATION3 font. Sheesh. As if MS didn't get enough flack for typing XBOX in uppercase; at least they didn't do it in DIABLO font. Or Wingdings. slywink

As to the controller, I think I'd have a tough time with my hands at that angle and trying to move my thumbs sideways for up.

Think about how you hold it, and it's at least a 20 deg angle change from existing controllers. Maybe it will be comfortable, and we'll all be eating crow.
I guess we won't know until at least mid-next year. (as Spring 2006 is only the announced JAPAN PLAYSTATION3™©® !11!!!oneittyONE-ONE ELEVENTYONE-BANG!!!! release)

I think the thing looks weird as hell, but we're all fools to dismiss a controller that none of us have ever handled.

Unless it's a two inch wide controller. Then Sony is stupid.

Um, I think it has sex appeal. I like it. I like the 360 controller better though. It just looks like it will fit the hand well.
