After having just recently watched several hours of the old cinematics, key conversations, and plot recaps, I have to say they did an amazing job summing everything up in just that handful of install splash screens.

Ugh. Got to 77%. Then, it gave me a "corrupt file" message and closed the launcher. Now, the launcher is hung at "Updating Blizzard Launcher (0%).

FYI, you can go under the cinematics tab to rewatch the opening cinematic and if you participated in the beta, two more shuold be available to watch (both allow you to choose class/gender).

For those interested, the strat guide is on the shelves at Best Buy.  The CE guide has a metallic bookmark, and supposed to be other good extras.  On sale for $26 or so.   No I don't work for Best Buy!

After the "corrupt file" message at 77%, the launcher hung on 0% updating. I finally closed it and restarted. Now, when I try to launch from the desktop icon, the setup file that I originally downloaded, or even if I download the new client setup, I am now hanging on a "Updating setup files" window and can't get past it.

Not sure, but even Starcraft II didn't have much of a manual, did it?

It's Diablo. Do you need a manual for it? It'll basically go like this 'Click this.. then click that. Now click again'.

Alright, got all installed and patched, despite having issues with incomplete downloads of files.  Got it all figured out, though, and managed to get it working.  Now I can stare at the login screen and wish I had my CE to get the key that enables me to play this game.  Knowing UPS, I won't get my box until 6 PM Mountain time tomorrow and waiting for it will kill me.  Oh well...at least I have Tera to keep me occupied until then.

You can always go into the main menu and hit the 'Cinematics' button to bring up all the unlocked ones.
