Edit: It's been 18 months since the game released. Just about time for the sequel to be announced.
Also just in time for it to be released on this year's new consoles. Hopefully it's on the new consoles so that the devs don't have to make as many gameplay and AI concessions.

It sucks that we're stuck in that time between two generations where we have no idea which platform a game will launch on. I'm hoping the same as you. Deus Ex would benefit greatly from the new generation, and would feel held back by the current gen. |

as long as it is on PC I'll be happy Sure, but if it's a current generation game, it'll still be held back. Even the PC experience would be dramatically different on the new gen. |

Game or movie, I'm still excited.
If it's a movie, even if it's straight to video, it should be pretty cool. I suspect it'll be a 3D animation, but live action would be interesting as well.
If it's the sequel, great. Let's hope they learned some lessons in DE1.

Yeah, not the best idea to announce tomorrow. That said, it is about time. Heck, they definitely have it timed right as I've been feeling the desire for a new Deus Ex style game something fierce. Apparently they've fixed the boss fights for the Wii version, which is a good sign they knew they did wrong. However, I had a bigger issue with the crappy ending. |
