Now I'm curious.  Free cookie if someone can find the power consumption of some of the older systems like the NES, Genesis, and N64.

wonder what the PC power levels are when just surfing the net,instead of playing games....if it is still pretty high then we are doomed,LOL(<<<<<i laugh  eek)

Couldn't find anything for the really old stuff, but here's a list for consoles from the last 2 generations.
