Been playing this one for a few months now and have a level 30 Assault and Specialist. It's a fun shooter game.

The latest patch "tweaked" the non-paying economy and raises the prices of in-game earned RP but lowered the prices for money-bought GC. May be a wee bit tougher if you're just starting out now since the prices of equipment have gone up (unless you're willing to pay real money that is).

Just started, so I guess I'll see. smile

Loving the pace of this one, much slower than all the other f2p shooters.  Slower feeling that is, definitely not any slower in ttk

Is this an FPS or third person? Can't quite tell from the screenshots at the site -- it seems to be 3rd person? Just asking due to my infamous motion sickness issues in pretty much everything FPS except (inexplicably) Borderlands 2.

this guy here says 3rd person, but I'm not sure he's trustworthy.

Did they stealth release this game?  How come we are just hearing about it now?  I thought Ghost Recon is a pretty big franchise.

It's 3rd person when you're not doing ADS (Aiming Down Sight). When you ADS it becomes first person. You do get accuracy and crit bonuses when you ADS but you can play the whole game in 3rd person, except when sniping of course.

I was checking this out around the time it released, but a few issues I read about kept me away from it. It sounds like its improved, so I'll have to check it out.  Of course I just recently got ARMA II, so it's pretty much sucking up all my shooter time.  slywink

Biggest problem for me is few people playing during the day when I have the most time.

Having a blast with this.  Only time I don't have fun is when I get a team that doesn't work together and the enemy does (like every team game ever)

The vast majority of people have no idea what objectives are in any team based game.  So frustrating.

I bet you feel like this when that happens:

Pick up groups are like that, but when you're grouped with members of good clans, they can usually play off what you play. So if you use a device, they'll follow suit and back you up (most of the times anyway). Though sometimes the enemy team is just too good that your team is just steamrolled.

icon_redface icon_lol Sigh. Sometimes I just truly have no recollection of posting things here. Perhaps that was my military shooter fan doppelganger.
