I was just checking out this game over at the
IGN Preview and movies and it looks like it could be a lot of fun. It's certainly not going for the crazy pace of Burnout 3; it looks more similar to Destruction Derby with crash 'n' bash races and derby arenas.
The graphics don't have the polish of most newer games, but it does have a lot of things going for it such as customizeable paint jobs, body parts and engine enhancements.
It also has support of 16 players online, which is (I think) the most of a console racer to date, especially with full collision and damage.
I'll admit it, I'm a sucker for crash 'em up driving games. There's a ton of other games out now and coming soon that I want, but for 20 bucks this might be something I pick up to waste a few hours over the holidays or with some relatives who don't want anything too complex.
