What was Shaker trying to be? I hadn't heard about that one.
A Wizardry-styled game... I think. It was impossible to figure it out at the time. The creators threw out a few snippets of contradictory gameplay information, and when people screamed for more info, they were given a huge and even more contradictory background story instead. It was incredibly frustrating, and probably the worst example of a mismanaged Kickstarter I've seen from a reasonably known name in the industry. They simply didn't understand even the most basic of wishes the backers had, which made me highly skeptical that these people would be able to create a fun game. I mean, if they don't understand players, how can we expect them to be able to provide something we'll like?
