Out side of going "3D" I don't see where else tey can take the series. I rather alpha centauri 2. Same game really, just a different spice.

From an old fogie who played the original tabletop, though the evolution of the Civ games has been slow, it's been great. When I want a marathon game, I still reach for Civ III. Good news, I say.
