so, I picked this up from D2D's 5 buck sale and I have to say I'm having a blast.  I'm playing Butchers Bay first and it's as good as I remember it.  I did forget how he got his 'starshine' eyes though, and I'm really hoping they explain it at some point.

for 5 bucks this game is a no brainer.  seriously, grab it at that price.

BB is holding up ok. I dunno what engine dark athena uses plus I haven't played it.

Yeah, they updated BB so it looks pretty decent.

there was a 3 install limit, not sure fi it's still there but I could deal with that for a 5 buck game I'll probably only get around to playing once or twice.

I'll be upgrading from the RC of Windows 7 to the full thing next month.  I'm hesitant to buy and install it now as I'd have to reinstall it and that'd be two installs gone.

I finished Butchers Bay tonight.  not too bad, although the end was a pain as I could not find any health stations after a certain point and I ended up going into the final battle with only 2 out of 7 health bubbles full.
