holy  eek, that is almost enough to make me forget the horrible Chrome game.  it's used for the new Call of Juarez game, but damn if I don't want to see it used for a old school Ghost Recon type game.  I do see it's being used for a Chrome 2, but the first game was a sci-fi shooter so I imagine the second will be more of the same.

the funny thing about chrome 2 is that it was first hinted at over three years ago and not a peep out of them about it for a long time since.  i figured it was dead or rolled into something else.  it was on my radar due to the potential for infantry vs mech combat.  

knowing that coj 2 was made with it makes me somewhat interested in it now.

CoJ Bound In Blood looks amazing for sure. Especially the lighting and shadows.
Plus, load times are much, much better than in the first CoJ.

I've got everything maxed out, and I'm getting really good framerates, however there is a fair amount of shrubbery pop-in when horseback riding in large areas. There doesn't appear to be a setting to fix this...maybe I just need a faster system? (Q6600, 6 gigs ram, and a 9800GT w/Vista 64).

That looked very cool. Yet in the CoJ Bound in Blood threat they kept complaining that the games has you always running forward and really discourages exploration. Seems like a waste to me. To me, the Gothic worlds have always looked kinda like clip.
