Back when Child of Light was announced, Ubisoft also announced another game using the UbiArt framework - Valiant Hearts : The Great War.  From the press release -
Quote
The story of Valiant Hearts The Great War focuses on the journey of five people as they brave the battles and difficulties of the Great War following their faithful canine companion. The game is set in the Western Front, a crossroads between World War Oneís Allied and Central Powers and home to some of the Warís most intense military confrontations. All of the main characters are inextricably drawn together, and friendship, love, sacrifice and tragedy befall each as they help each other to retain their humanity against the horrors of war.

Here's the trailer that reveals the release date - June 24/25 on PS3/4 and XBox 360/One.

Iím kind of annoyed they are making no efforts to bring this one to WiiU.  The engine was pretty much made for the WiiU what with Rayman Legends and Iím loving playing Child of Light right now, it looks amazing on my 60inch TV.

I suppose I will have to make do with the PC version of this one.

This is the free game for Live this month.

I've been wanting to play it since it was released, but never got around to it. Came SO close to buying it when it was 10.00, but knew they were going to give it away at some point.

I completed the first chapter last night and it is a wonderful little game.  Educational. Appropriately serious. Sprinkled with  bits of humor.  Excellent.

Highly recommend.

Yeah, I really loved this little game.  Quite a treat.
