I plan on picking it up tonight and playing this weekend.  Anyone else planning to try this game?

Probably not going to play this until the price drops.  Unless I decide to rent it week after next while I am without net connection.

I plan on picking this up later today. Won't have a chance to play it until Monday though.

I've played training and the first two missions.  It's really very fun.  And the control scheme does not take long to become intuitive.  Plus, I've already secured the Pentagon.

I always want to play RTS games, but my consant sucking at that deters me.  I played the demo and was surprised that it controlled as well as it did, considering I had only ever really played RTS games on the PC.  I think it is a little nicer in the controls that BFME was.  I liked what I played in the demo, but it also reminded me that I suck at the games.  I never know what to do, what to build, when to attack...basically I know nothing and I am not a strategizing kind of person.  Still, I get tempted to buy this because while I sucked at it, I still thought it was col.  My son thought it was cool, which also tempts me.

I was going to get this for 360 but someone here had it for sale for $25 including shipping on PC... so I couldn't justify the bigger cost.  I'm enjoying it so far on the PC.

I played through the tutorial and first mission on Hard.  Not too shabby.  Runs much better than Battle for Middle Earth, though I still got some slow-down when I had about 20 troop units and 8 orcas all in my huge base right next to the huge NOD base.  Hopefully it won't be too big of an issue.  The controls are very similar to BfME but seem cleaned up a bit, especially in how much room the interface takes up and how easy it is to scroll through.  Plan on playing more this weekend.
