Could it finally be a good 3D Castlevania?  I'd say so after watching the trailer!

I wish they'd just give us a proper 2D (movement-wise. It would use 3D graphics, of course) Castlevania on a big console like the PS3 and/or the 360. There are so many cool things they could do with that kind of power.

God of Castlevania!

Great cast.  Looks good, graphically (though the werewolf is a little stiff).  They've actually put some weight into the story - that may be due to Kojima's involvement.  The story shift leads to the tone shift, which I'm sure a lot of 'Vania freaks will complain about, but that's what'll keep me playing.  Even though it's "me too," it looks like good "me too," so I can get behind that.

For some reason it doesn't bother me that this is a GoW clone like Dante's Inferno does.  Could be my insatiable lust for the Castlevania series.  IN!

Devil May Cry always seemed like Castlevania in 3D done right and GoW was clearly partially inspired by DMC so I just see this as bringing things full circle.

Looks really good.  Developer doesn't have the best track record but hopefully Kojima Productions and Konami can give them a helping hand that they may not have had previously.

But none of those other games have magic hair.   icon_razz

When I saw Bayonetta at last year's E3 the first thing I thought of was DMC with the character from Bullet Witch as the lead.

I saw this perfect comment...let's see...ahha!

"Dracula May Cry: God of Castlevania"

Just what we need - another God of War clone. Of course, if it's done right (as it is in God of War), then that's not exactly a bad thing.

I'll never complain about GoW clones- it's really just God of War, Devil May Cry, and Ninja Gaiden.  Now we can add Bayonneta, Dante's Inferno, and Castlevania.  There is practically more FPS's released in a given week than these six series over two or three years.

same - not crazy about kratos ( smile ), but really like the genre (& are we maybe adding metal gear rising?)...
