I'd say there's some gameplay in there.  the boat, the mini-gun on the helicopter, I'm betting the seen from the AC-130 is gameplay and there's definitely first person footage of your character starting to rappel down the building

quite surprised how much gameplay was actually in it,they usually don't show any gameplay for awhile.....i see it has you on a speedboat again,the speedboat level in MW2 was pretty cool

For me, CONVINCING is the word.  As in I'll need to be convinced not to just wait out FPS until Battlefield 3.  Since 4, it has been an automatic purchase, but I just don't see how they can improve upon the MP that was BLOPS.  I pretty much loved everything about it.  Ditto W@W.

Just out of curiosity, has there been a CoD game in say the past 5 years or so that wasn't an improvement mplay-wise over it's predecessors? I've only owned CoD 2, W@W and BLOPS and they all seemed to be fairly significant improvements. I rented CoD:MW and MW2, but didn't have them long enough to really judge the mplay - so I'm not sure.

latency issues have become worse each year.  They keep adding more and more stuff to the mp, but they don't seem to update the netcode with each new version.  The end result is a game with a bunch of new shit that's laggier than last year's shit.

a month ago Battlefield 3 appeared on the E.A.store and had a date for release as November 2nd 2011....it was quickly taken down again,it would go with them saying they were aiming for COD,but TBH..no matter how good the game would be,COD would probably outsell it,what they need to do for maximum damage is release BF3 a week or two after COD,best hope of knocking COD off the top spot and getting the press headlines IMO

Yeah, black ops was a step backwards after MW2 . . . I'm hoping that whatever engine tweaks they do they don't mess with the net code of the engine they used in MW2, because (after the launch period) I thought it was the best online exp. yet.  Only issue with it were perks and the eventual hacking.
To sum my feelings up, here is what I posted about them eliminating the hacks in MW2:
'After months of lag ops, I will salute each time I die to a quick scope, try to catch danger close/OMA tube shots with my hands, and tell the commando/marathonner "thank you" as I die on their blade.'

The only multiplayer shooter that wasn't laggy at all for me this year was Section 8

i have never had lag on Black Ops,and i have prestiged to about 5,(on a 20mb connection)

i get that disconnect symbol flash on the screen when the scores appear at the end of the match and then the odd person quitting and it not transferring hosts now and then but that's it

saying that though,in pretty much 99% of all games i have played,no one has talked,so perhaps that is an issue when you guys are playing if there is a lot of chatter

I'm playing black ops on ps3, and the lag often does not manifest in the connection choking/slowdown.
My main problem is: I'm playing, I'm taking fire, I take cover . . . then I die from the shots that hit before I took cover.  Also huge killcam discrepancies: I auto-die when enemy comes around corner, only to see them turn corner, take the time to reload, eat sandwich, then kill me on the replay.

I played the Spec Ops mode for all of 10 minutes in the last one.  Was very boring to me.
