I need to come to terms with the fact that I will never be 1/2 as good as a teenager who's been sitting at home all summer playing ten hours a day Or Hark. Isn't he unemployed so it amounts to the same thing?

Map pack 4 on its wayby the end of september EDIT: a better link, coming to Xbox 23rd August http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2011/08/03/more-zombie-themed-black-ops-dlc-coming-to-xbox-360-on-august-23.aspxJoin a new fight against the undead before Modern Warfare 3 infiltrates your consoles this November.
Today Activison revealed that the Black Ops "Rezurrection" DLC is coming to the Xbox 360 on August 23 for 1200 Microsoft Points.
The Zombie themed pack includes an all new Moon level for you to fight Zombies in space, four re-mastered Zombie levels (Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese, the Zombie factory that started it all), an enhanced Zombies Soundtrack including three new tracks, and a new Zombies Moon theme. so i am guessing if you don't play the Zombie levels(like me)then this is worthless to you

Quickscoping has been a super annoying thing for me recently. I don't know where it came from, but it seems like it came out of nowhere. I hadn't seen much quickscoping during the life of this game, but man is it prevalent now. I haaaaaaaaaaaate it.
On a side note, about 9 levels from hitting 14th prestige and getting some super awesome amazing killer spectacular gold gun camo! Cause hey, nothin' says elite like a gun painted gold!

Forgot to mention, the guy doing these guides was so good at it, that Activision hired him. He is doing the video guides that will be accessible through the Elite subscription service for the next COD.

I seem to have reacquired the COD bug as I've been playing this a lot more lately. Back when I prestiged a 2nd time I didn't have any intentions of working up to a 3rd, yet here I am nearing level 45 and that 3rd prestige becoming much more in reach. I haven't purchased any of the map packs, but there seems to be enough variety with the existing maps that I don't feel like things are too repetitive (outside of seeing Firing Range rather often).
I'm not sure if point values have increased, double XP is still going on, or I have simply improved, as I feel like match bonuses and overall XP seem to be higher than I remember. I remember match bonuses being around 700 points or so, yet lately I've been earning 1400 and above. Then again, I'm typically earning 15 or more kills a match, as compared to less than 10 in the past, so that could be the influencing factor.
The game still has its fair share of irritations, such as blatant camping (on one level someone went 25-1 by camping in a highly-trafficked spot - every kill cam showed he never moved anywhere else), run-and-knifers, quick-scoping (how the fuck do people learn how to do this), and n00b-tubers (in this case I'm not referring to Hardon Smasher as it's funny when he does it), but that aside I still enjoy the competition, tension, quick reactions, and my occasional stellar match. It still isn't as much fun playing MP by myself than with friends, although I do score more kills when not in a room full of the GT special forces elite. A few nights ago I played a while with Hardon and we had a good time.
I still intend to keep up with Black Ops, at least until MW3, and so perhaps I'll prestige a 3rd and maybe even a 4th time (although the semester is coming up and odds are I'll be luck to find time to eat let alone play games).

You should check your spellings beforehand. The last line is classic. I did. Isgrimnr goes by "Hadron Smasher" on XBL, but a while back (I think back when we played a ton of W@W) it was mistaken for "Ha rdon Smasher" and he more or less became Hardon Smasher. Frankly the incorrect version is just way more fun.

Plus Pete likes to play with a Hardon That was my original guess. The less he talks about those games the better... I do have Hadron Smasher on my list and played a few games of BlOps with him but it's been a while now.

I wasn't paying much attention to the players in the room and it wasn't until later that I thought, "Who the hell is taking all of the kills?!?!?!?!" Then when I saw I simply thought, "Son of a bitch" and then figured it was time to head to sleep.
